2. Plan your essay: Before you start writing, make a quick plan of what points you want to make and the order in which you want to make them. This will help you to organize your thoughts and ensure that you cover all the key points.

3. Use a clear and varied vocabulary: Use a range of vocabulary, including synonyms and appropriate language for academic writing. Try to avoid repeating the same words and phrases, and use connectives to link your ideas.
